This past weekend, we decided to take a trip to Ikea. (Part of the appeal of our area is we are super close to EVERYTHING.) We were in the market for a couple more bookcases. Well, we get there, only to learn Ikea has discontinued the bookcases in the Birch.
We go to Target, thinking they might have something. Nope. Also nothing in our color. Although, we do find the perfect wall pieces for our bedroom there, so score on that end.
Not ready to give up, I proceed to browse Craigslist. Lo and behold, I find our bookcases. Three for the same price Ikea would have charged for two (albeit from two different sellers, and not perfect condition). Bookcases achieved!
Now to just get all our books. And a dining room table (which we are likely buying off a coworker of mine, but after the new year sometime), and to finish getting everything in order...
