Tis the season.

Wednesday is date night. It's a tradition C., and I started when we were living in Boston. Originally, it was a way for us to try new restaurants upon moving (back for me) into Boston proper from the "suburbs". It eventually became a dedicated night we would spend time together. Now, that we are in a new city, it is becoming a bit of the former again.
Being the information professionals we are, we had gone online to find cool things to do in Pittsburgh. We found Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens all decked out for the holidays. So into the city we went.
The Conservatory was well worth it.

They have new themes for each season. This year's holiday theme was snow day.
We also, through our keen information professional skillset and google-fu, managed to find an amazing Middle Eastern restaurant in the nearby Squirrel Hill neighborhood for dinner. Definitely a place to go back to! (Seems the Squirrel Hill neighborhood in the Jewish-area of Pittsburgh. Will be looking there for Chinese restaurants for December 25.)

Work is contunuing. Yesterday and today has been very heavy on finding articles for reading/research. I'm making progress on the inventorying of materials. I've been cataloging books for the physical library. I have a growing stack of items to scanned and digitized.
