So. This is it.

Today, C. and I drove to Pittsburgh. Technically, we are living 20ish miles west of the city, driving through Pittsburgh today on the Penn Turnpike was my first view of the actual city. (I've always come through via the airport before, which is also west of the city.) We drove through right at the beginning of twilight. There's something very specific about this city. Beyond it being the 'city of bridges', the architecture is very unique. I cannot wait to explore the actual city limits.

Thanksgiving was lovely. My flight Wednesday night was cancelled. So while I was supposed to get in around 1130 Wednesday night, I stayed another night in Pittsburgh, and booked a ticket for an early early early flight Thursday morning. But I was able to get to my mom's house in time for most of the parade! It was also the first time I saw C. since I came to Pittsburgh on the 10th. Of course, I ate too much, and watched too many cooking shows, and took photos of the dog, so in other words, a normal Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow, is back to work. And now that we are both here, and we have the car, we can do more proper grocery trips, Ikea trips, and slowly start to unpack. (We left about fifteen boxes at mother's. Mostly books. We hope to get them in the spring.)

Now. We slowly catch up on the episodes we missed of Westworld.
