Yesterday, I walked into work, and my Supervisor informs me he's placed two newspaper articles on my desk. One, an obituary for the man considered to be the Founding Father of the new library at Alexandria, and two, a piece on how the Morgan Library is cataloging the different old book smells for historical research. Today, I walk in, and he informs me he has a challenge for me: find an article in Italian, preferably in translation.
Tuesday, I finished the first round of boxes, and now comes the fun part of re-cataloging them in the filing room.
Monday, I found not one, not two, but three books mis-shelved in the library.
AKA, here are the adventures of a Solo Librarian.
